Manchester United are set to sign AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone next summer, according to ‘credible’ reports in Italy.
Ruben Amorim is preparing for an overhaul of his midfield, with Manchester United linked heavily with targets including Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.
Kone is now a name in the frame, and journalist Francesca Teodori has claimed there is a strong chance the 12-cap France international moves to Old Trafford.
The 24-year-old has impressed since joining Roma from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2023. This season, Kone ranks among Serie A’s leading players for pass completion (10th), progressive passes (4th) and fouls drawn (8th).
