Wolves travel to Anfield on Saturday in desperate need of a miracle.
Rob Edwards’ side have lost 10 consecutive Premier League games and sit bottom of the table with just two points.
The visitors are depleted by injuries and international call-ups, but will hope to frustrate a Liverpool side missing their own key attackers. Edwards may look to revert to a back five to contain the Reds, a strategy that nearly earned them a point against Arsenal recently.
Wolves team news
Rob Edwards has received a boost with Yerson Mosquera returning from suspension. He is expected to slot straight back into the defence. However, Toti Gomes has been ruled out for weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Africa Cup of Nations has stripped the squad of Emmanuel Agbadou and Tawanda Chirewa. In midfield, injuries to Marshall Munetsi and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde limit Edwards’ options. Consequently, André and João Gomes are expected to anchor the midfield, while Tolu Arokodare pushes for a start up front after scoring against Arsenal. José Sá is likely to continue in goal after returning to the starting lineup last week.
Wolves predicted Lineup
Wolves predicted XI: Sá; Tchatchoua, Krejčí, Mosquera, S. Bueno, Doherty; André, J. Gomes; Hwang, Arokodare, Larsen
