Moment of the Week
Talk about bailing your side out of trouble. The pressure was on Tottenham after recent results, with a four-game winless run having included dreadful derby defeats to Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham. A trip to face Newcastle at St James’ Park was hardly the kindest fixture for Thomas Frank, but the Spurs boss had his captain to save the day.
Newcastle twice led in a gripping second half, only for Cristian Romero to emerge as the unlikely hero. The Argentine defender headed home his first equaliser, only for Newcastle to retake the lead late on via Anthony Gordon’s penalty.
But in the dying embers, Romero delivered again. An audacious acrobatic effort found its way in to snatch Spurs a point in the 95th minute.

Player of the Week
When Phil Foden is in full flow there aren’t many better players to watch, anywhere.
The Stockport schemer looks well and truly back to his best, after scoring four times across his last two Premier League appearances. After a last-gasp winner to sink Leeds at the weekend, Foden scored twice to help Manchester City beat Fulham in midweek.
His first was a thing of beauty, fired in with laser-like precision in a goal we’ve seen time and time again from the midfielder. The battle to be England’s number 10 at next summer’s World Cup is fierce, but Foden appears to be timing his audition well.

Goal of the Week
We’ve already seen two glorious goals, but neither take our Goal of the Week accolade. That honour heads to Ao Tanaka, for a thumping effort in Leeds’ win over Chelsea.
Tanaka left Robert Sanchez with no chance as he blasted Leeds into a 2-0 lead at Elland Road, setting the stage for a crucial three points for Daniel Farke’s side.

Stat of the Week
With two games still to go of his three-match suspension, Chelsea fans might have reason to be concerned. The Blues lacked plenty of the fight that Moises Caicedo brings to their team during a feeble loss at Leeds this week.
Bournemouth and Everton are up next for Enzo Maresca’s Caicedo-less side.
