Tottenham Hotspur welcome Manchester United today, drawing inspiration from their recent successes against the Red Devils.
Spurs famously won all four meetings between the two clubs last season, including the Europa League final. Consequently, they will be confident they can get another result, despite their recent dip in league form.
A midweek 4-0 Champions League win over FC Copenhagen provided a much-needed boost. That win came after a disappointing 1-0 home loss to Chelsea.
However, Spurs must now address their dreadful home form. They have won just one of their five league games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season. In fact, they have lost nine home league games in 2025. This is a statistic Thomas Frank will be desperate to change.
Tottenham Hotspur team news
Thomas Frank’s squad has been stretched to its limit by a severe injury crisis. The manager confirmed that nine first-team players are unavailable. This list includes James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Yves Bissouma, and Dominic Solanke. Additionally, Lucas Bergvall is out due to concussion protocols.

However, the manager received a crucial boost in defence. Both Cristian Romero and Destiny UDOGIE are fit again. They both returned to action and helped the team secure a midweek win over FC Copenhagen. Attacker Mohammed Kudus, who missed that game, faces a late assessment and is “touch and go” for this match. Randal Kolo Muani is fit again and could start, though Richarlison will also be vying for a place in the front three.
