Bruno Fernandes has insisted he is happy at Manchester United and has called a transfer to the Saudi Pro League ‘impossible scenario to imagine’ as things stands.
Fernandes was subject of interest from Saudi sides in the summer, turning down interest from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad to remain at Old Trafford. The 31-year-old remains a transfer target for clubs in the Middle East but a potential exit from Manchester is not currently on his radar.
Discussing his future, Fernandes said there have been no further talks regarding a potential transfer.
“I’m happy here (Manchester United). Otherwise, I wouldn’t have stayed… I like to enjoy the moment,” he said in reported published by Fabrizio Romano.
“Saudi move? That’s an impossible scenario to imagine, because it’s nothing that’s been discussed with me anymore.”
Fernandes was named Manchester United Player of the Year in 2024/25, winning the award for a record-equalling fourth time. He has started the season impressively again despite mixed results for the Red Devils, leading the division for chances created.
