Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has named as the Premier League Player of the Month for September.
Haaland continued his prolific start to the Premier League season in September, scoring five times and providing an assist in just three appearances. The 25-year-old is the leading scorer in the Premier League so far this season, with nine goals.
It’s a fourth Player of the Month award for Haaland, matching players including Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer and Frank Lampard. Just eight players have won the prize on more occasions, with the record seven, held jointly by three players.

“September was an important month for us as a team. We played some really good football, stayed unbeaten, and got important wins for our fans. I’m happy I could help the team with goals and performances,” Haaland told Manchester City’s official website.
“Now we just keep going — keep working hard every day, because there’s a tough schedule after the international break. Hopefully we can keep the same level and win even more games.”
