Hojlund continues hot streak with Denmark double

Rasmus Hojlund continued his fine form with a double as Denmark thrashed Belarus 6-0 in World Cup qualification.

Hojlund, who is on loan at Napoli from Manchester United, netted two first-half goals for the Danes. Manchester United wing-back Patrick Dorgu was also on target, while Andres Dreyer scored a brace.

After a difficult spell at Old Trafford, Hojlund has had an impressive start to his time in Naples.

The 22-year-old has scored four goals in six appearances across all competitions before continuing that form into the international break. He has now netted five goals in his last three games for club and country.

Denmark’s big win saw the nation stay top of Group C, ahead of Scotland on goal difference. Scotland beat Greece 3-1 in the other fixture of the night.
