Most big chances created per 90 in Europe’s top five leagues last season
5. Lee Kang-in – Paris Saint-Germain (0.86)
The South Korean became somewhat of an afterthought as Paris Saint-Germain powered to treble success, having started the season in favour for Luis Enrique’s team.
Ousmane Dembele’s move to a central role saw his minutes decrease, but the 24-year-old was a valuable contributor with six goals and six assists in 19 league starts. There will be plenty of clubs interested if PSG are prepared to sell this summer.
4. Lamine Yamal – Barcelona (0.88)
Barcelona’s brilliant teenage talent took his game to a new level in 2024/25. Fresh from winning Euro 2024 with Spain last summer, Yamal led Barcelona to La Liga title success.
The 18-year-old led La Liga for assists (13) during a campaign that saw him put his name forward for Ballon d’Or contention.
3. Rayan Cherki – Lyon (0.97)
Rayan Cherki’s creativity has earned the winger a summer move to Manchester City, following a campaign that saw the 21-year-old break into the France squad. Cherki led both Ligue 1 and the Europa League for assists.
2. Bukayo Saka – Arsenal (1.09)
Bukayo Saka was one of just two players to average at least one big chance created per 90 minutes last season. Saka started the season on fire for Arsenal, becoming the first player to assist in each of the opening six games of a single Premier League campaign.

A hamstring injury in December decimated his season, ending his hopes of the Premier League’s Playmaker Award and, perhaps, derailing Arsenal’s title challenge.
1. Michael Olise – Bayern Munich (1.23)
A revelation. Michael Olise swapped Crystal Palace for Bayern Munich last summer but handled the step up with ease.
The Frenchman scored 12 times and provided 15 assists in the Bundesliga alone, as Bayern regained the title from Bayer Leverkusen. His instant impact was crucial to the club’s success, as Olise formed an immediate understanding with Harry Kane in Munich.
