Chelsea are willing to sell Raheem Sterling for a fee of £20m this summer as the club look to offload the out-of-favour winger.
Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal but failed to make an impression at the Emirates. The 30-year-old started just seven times in the Premier League, failing to score, and is now exploring his options.
He has returned to Chelsea for pre-season with all parties working to secure an exit. Journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that Chelsea will accept offers of £20m for the winger, who is attracting interest from Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus.
The latter have explored a deal to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea, but the player’s wages have provided a stumbling block.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen are in the market for attacking additions following the departures of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.
Sterling signed for Chelsea from Manchester City in a £45m deal in 2022 but scored just 14 goals in 59 league appearances for the West Londoners.
The 82-cap England international has not been called up by the Three Lions since the 2022 World Cup and could now head abroad in a bid to reignite his career.
