West Brom to break club record for the second time in two days

After months of inactivity at the Hawthorns, where the only notable arrival was Matt Phillips from QPR, West Bromwich Albion have decided to splash the cash.

Yesterday we brought you news of how Tony Pulis has agreed a club record fee to sign Tottenham Hotspurs’ winger Nacer Chadli for £13million.

Well less than 24hours later he seems to have done it again, as he closes in on the £15.3million signing of Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho after the Baggies triggered the defensive midfielders release clause.

The midfielder has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, and now seems finally set to arrive in the Premier League.

The fees to bring in Chadli and Camacho exceed the previous transfer record set by the club when they paid £12million to sign Solomon Rondon.
