Sunderland close to sealing loan for Manchester United starlet

Sunderland have agreed a deal to take Manchester United duo Paddy McNair and Donald Love to the Stadium of light this summer, and are also close to agreeing a deal to bring another academy star to the Stadium of Light.

New Sunderland boss David Moyes was the man to give Adnan Januzaj his Manchester United debut, where he announced his arrival to the Premier League at the Stadium of Light, scoring two goals on his first start for the club as United came from behind to give Moyes a much needed three points.

Rreports today suggest that Januzaj could be about light up that same stadium on a more regular basis as Sunderland close in on a loan deal for the Belgian winger.

The 21-year old is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans this season at Old Trafford, but there is a reluctance to let him leave on a permanent basis.

United have just forked out a World Record deal to bring Paul Pogba to Old Trafford, four-years after the Manchester United academy star left for Juventus on a free transfer.

Old Trafford bosses are keen to avoid a repeat situation, and are only willing to allow the winger to leave on a loan basis, and being reunited with the man who gave him his breakthrough could be the best solution for all parties.

Manchester United and Sunderland have a strong historic link with many United players heading to the north east, including Danny Welbeck, Jonny Evans, Wes Brown, John O’Shea and Fraiser Campbell.
