Mourinho tells NINE Man Utd stars that they can leave

After weeks of adding to his squad ahead of the new season, Jose Mourinho has finally started to trim down his Manchester United squad, with NINE players being told they are no longer wanted.

The Portuguese has reportedly told Germany international Bastian Schweinsteiger that he can leave the club, despite him only arriving from Bayern Munich 12-months ago.

Schweinsteiger has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, although there is likely to be interest from both Spain and Germany too.

Along with Schweinsteiger, Mourinho had also told Adnan Januzaj, Andreas Pereira, Will Keane, James Wilson, Paddy McNair, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Tyler Blackett and Tim Fosu-Mensah that they do not feature in his plans for the upcoming season.

Some of those players will leave on loan, whilst others are expected to leave on a permanent deal.

It is also thought that whilst willing to keep other players, Mourinho is also willing to listen to offers on the likes of Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, and Marouane Fellaini.
