One of Manchester United’s top summer transfer targets will be allowed to leave his club this summer according to reports in France.
Blaise Matuidi has been linked with a move to Manchester United this year, and new Paris Saint Germain boss Unai Emery is open to letting him leave the club.
Emery told L’equipe:
He is a very good player.
We have a lot of left-footed defensive midfielders. If he has the opportunity to leave and if he thinks there are too many midfielders here… But I do not want him to go.
It is thought that a bid of £30million would be enough to secure Matuidi’s signature.
The 29-year old is also wanted by Juventus, who see the Frenchman as an ideal replacement for Paul Pogba, should he complete his move to Manchester United as expected.
