Leicester City are ready to up their bid for Burnley centre-back Michael Keane according to a report in today’s Sunday People.
The Premier League champions have already seen bids of £7m, £10m, and £15m all knocked back as Sean Dyche’s Burnley desperately try to hold on to the Manchester United academy graduate.
Keane is refusing to sign a new £30,000-a-week contract at the newly promoted club, and would jump at the opportunity to join the Premier League champions, who are now preparing to up their offer to £17million.
This is still some way short of the £20million price tag that Burnley have slapped on young defender, who joined the club in 2014.
Keane played in all but two of the Clarets Championship games last season.
