‘I have no plans on leaving’ – Zaha

Wilfred Zaha has delivered a hammer blow to the transfer plans of a number of Premier League teams after he revealed that he has ‘no plans on leaving’ Crystal Palace this summer.

The Palace winger has been an integral part of the Eagles Premier League survival, scoring nine goals in his 29 appearances this season, and at times, it felt like he was single handedly dragging the club clear of the drop zone.

The 25-year-old’s form has seen him linked with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City in recent months.

However speaking after the 2-0 win over relegated West Bromwich Albion in the final Premier League game of the season, Zaha delivered the news that every Palace fan will be delighted to here.

“I have no plans on leaving,” he said. “I’m enjoying my football, you can see how much I’m enjoying it. This is my home and there’s no reason for me to leave.”

This is of course Zaha’s second spell at Selhurst Park having left to join Manchester United back in 2013. However his time at Old Trafford was nothing short of a disaster under David Moyes, and subsequently Louis van Gaal, who agreed to allow the Ivory Coast international to return to South London.
