Gareth Bale to be offered new deal at Real Madrid

Gareth Bale is currently the joint top scorer at Euro 2016 following a goal in each of Wales’ Group B games, and on his return to Madrid this summer, the club are planning to offer him a ‘deal for life’.

Bale’s growing influence in the Real Madrid side has attracted much attention from back in the Premier League, with Manchester United having been strongly linked over the last few years. However, according to the Daily Mail today, Real Madrid are preparing to make the Welshman one of the highest paid stars in world football.

Despite rumours that Bale was unhappy during the early days of his Real Madrid career, which has seen him lift the UEFA Champions League trophy twice in three years, where he played a pivotal role in both finals. The 26-year old has got rid of his wary unhappiness and has settled down in the Spanish capital, where he is starting to become the figurehead for the Spanish Giants.

As his influence grows, Real Madrid are prepared to offer Bale a bumper new contract at the Bernabeu, that the article claims could be as long as SEVEN years, which will finally ward off the Premier League interest in him.

Real Madrid paid a World Record fee of £85million for Bale back in 2013, a fee that could be broken again this summer as Manchester United and Real Madrid chase the signature of Paul Pogba from Juventus.
