Ronaldo is the Champions League all-time leading goalscorer with 119 goals

To put Ronaldo’s goal scoring exploits in the Champions League into perspective, he has found the net more times in Europes most prestigious competition since 2009 (104) than his former club Manchester United (98), and more times than Liverpool (38) and Spurs (61) combined.

The Portuguese international brace last night against Juventus now means he has scored in every round of this seasons Champions League, and it would take a brave man to bet against him keeping that run up all the way to the final in May.

Ronaldo has scored 50 hat-tricks in his career 

Cristiano’s recent hat-trick in La Liga against Girona was the 50th of his epic career. Funnily enough despite winning the Balon d’Or while at Man United he only managed to score one hat-trick during his six seasons with the Red Devils.

Ronaldo is the only player to have scored in the 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 European Championships, as well as the 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
