Five of the best – Neymar goals

We’ve recently covered the best goals by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, so naturally, the next player we looked at was Brazilian sensation, Neymar!

While Lionel Messi’s best goals were wonderful dribbles and clever finishes, and Ronaldo’s best goals were long range thunderbolts, Neymar has a bit of everything in his locker.

So sit back, and enjoy, five of Neymar’s greatest goals of all time.

PSG v Dijon

After making his incredible £198m move from Barcelona to PSG, Neymar scored this incredible solo goal against Dijon.

Picking up the ball just inside the Dijon half, the Brazilian danced past four players, drifting centrally and just into the box before firing into the far corner.

Barcelona v Rayo Vallecano

Once again, picking up the ball by the half way line, Neymar skipped past a challenge and drove towards the Rayo Vallecano box.

With the defenders backing off more and more, Neymar seized his opportunity and rifled an unstoppable strike into the back of the net from all of 25 yards.

Brazil v Japan

A slightly different type of goal now, this time while on International duty with Brazil during the 2013 Confederations Cup.

With just three minutes played, a long ball was played up to Fred, who seemed to miscontrol it with his chest. But the ball dropped kindly for Neymar who seized the opportunity and unleashed this fantastic strike…

Santos v Internacional

The fourth goal now, and this one was back in his days playing for Brazilian side Santos. Picking up the ball deep inside his own half, Neymar dribbles past four Internacional players, before tucking the ball past the keeper, despite the efforts of the defending side. Incredible.

Barcelona v Villarreal

So we’ve seen some absolute bangers, some sensational skills and some wonderful dribbles, but this has to be one of the best.

When the ball came in from the left, Neymar managed to somehow control the ball, flick it over the defenders head, before tucking it into the back of the net. Sensational.
