The end of the Premier League season can only mean one thing, it’s time to dish out the seasonal awards. Our writers picked their best moments from the 2025-26 campaign.
Player of the Season
Harry Diamond: Bruno Fernandes. He’s been the shining light in an ordinary (at best) Manchester United team for some time, but has taken his game to another level this season with a better supporting cast. He’s created almost as many chances (130) as the next two highest players combined (136) on route to the single-season assist record.
Ste McGovern: Bruno Fernandes. No individual player has done more for their club than Fernandes has for Manchester United, not just this season, but for many, many years.
Bruno Fernandes could finish the season with 𝙎𝙄𝙓 individual awards to his name 🤯🏆

Ayoob Rahman: David Raya. The Spanish shot-stopper was the absolute bedrock of Arsenal’s title-winning campaign, securing his third consecutive Golden Glove. His exceptional consistency and elite ball-playing ability anchored the division’s meanest defence, making him the league’s most influential player.
Mohon Chanda: Bruno Fernandes, undoubtedly. The impact he had throughout the season, even in tough times, is the reason why Manchester United are third.
Young Player of the Season (21 or under at July 31st 2025)
Harry: Nico O’Reilly. A coming-of-age campaign for the Manchester City youngster, who looks to have landed a starting role with England at this summer’s World Cup. His double to win the League Cup final was the highlight of a season filled with them.
Ste: Nico O’Reilly. A remarkable breakthrough season for the Manchester City starlet. He not only kept Rayan Ait-Nouri out of the starting XI at left-back, but he was also impressive when deployed in midfield. His timing in the opposition box at his age is a marvel.
Ayoob: Eli Junior Kroupi. The French teenager was an absolute sensation for Bournemouth, rewriting history by scoring 13 top-flight goals to set a new Premier League record for a debut teenage season. His superb strike against Manchester City not only sealed historic European football for the Cherries but handed Arsenal the league title.
Mohon: Eli Junior Kroupi. 13 goals in 32 starts in his first Premier League season. Could not be any better.
Manager of the Season
Harry: Mikel Arteta. If Arsenal can get over the line in the Champions League too, it’s impossible to look past the Spaniard. Honourable mentions for Keith Andrews, Andoni Iraola, and Michael Carrick.
Ste: Andoni Iraola. A lot of great contenders this year, but getting Bournemouth to Europe after they sold their best players is one of the greatest managerial feats in Premier League history.
Ayoob: Mikel Arteta. Arteta earned his place in football history by masterminding Arsenal’s first Premier League title in 22 years. At 44 years old, he became the third-youngest manager in Premier League history to lift the crown while building a record-breaking, set-piece-dominant side.
Mohon: Mikel Arteta. Not only for winning the Premier League but for overcoming the ‘bottle’ accusations after recent near misses.
Goal of the Season
Harry: Harrison Reed’s rocket against Liverpool jumps first to my mind. The definition of unsaveable from an unlikely source, to rescue his team in the 97th minute, too.
Ste: Harrison Reed vs Liverpool. Fulham were dealt a gut punch when Liverpool scored a last-minute goal to go ahead at Craven Cottage. Substitute Reed, who at that point hadn’t started a Premier League match since April 2024, hit one of the sweetest strikes you’ve ever seen to rescue a point. Extra points for kissing the underside of the bar with the ball.

Ayoob: Jérémy Doku (Manchester City vs Everton). Doku produced a moment of pure technical wizardry deep into stoppage time, cutting inside from the left to unleash an unstoppable, curling right-foot strike into the far corner. The 97th-minute equaliser rescued a crucial point in the season’s most dramatic run-in fixture.
Mohon: I can’t think of any better than William Osula’s solo strike against Manchester United that won Newcastle the game at St James’ Park.
Save of the Season
Harry: It has to be David Raya against West Ham. There were better saves in the Premier League this season, but none as big. A massive moment in the outcome of the title race.
Ste: Gianluigi Donnarumma vs Liverpool. The Italian pulled off an outstanding save to deny Alexis Mac Allister’s wicked long-range effort. Take a bow.
Ayoob: David Raya (Arsenal vs West Ham). Raya demonstrated extraordinary, world-class reflexes to deny Mateus Fernandes from point-blank range. This breathtaking stop preserved a priceless 1-0 victory for the Gunners, securing three vital points when the title race was at its absolute thinnest.
David Raya is made for the big moments 🧤

Mohon: I think Alphonse Areola’s save of the month award wins it for me against Wolves, although West Ham eventually lost the match 3-0.
Signing of the Season
Harry: Rayan Cherki. Arrived at the Etihad with question marks but has lit up the league. For a fee in the region of £30 million, it’s been outstanding business.
Ste: Noah Sadiki. Sunderland played a blinder in last summer’s transfer window, with the signing of Granit Xhaka getting most of the plaudits. But the Black Cats took a bit of a gamble buying a 20-year-old from the Belgian top flight to replace Jobe Bellingham. He now looks like an absolute steal at £15m and will end up earning the club a massive profit.
Ayoob: Granit Xhaka (Sunderland). The veteran midfielder’s £17 million switch to newly promoted Sunderland proved to be a masterstroke, completely transforming a potential relegation battle into a stellar top-flight campaign. Operating as an elite metronome, the 33-year-old dictated the tempo of matches and provided the crucial leadership that defined their season.
Mohon: Kroupi Junior’s impact for Bournemouth has been incredible in his first Premier League season.
Best Game
Harry: Manchester United 4-4 Bournemouth. An eight-goal game in which both teams led twice tops the list for me. Thorough entertainment at Old Trafford.
Ste: Arsenal 2-3 Man Utd. The Michael Carrick era kicked off with consecutive wins over City and the Gunners, the latter being their highlight of the season. After trading goals in the first half, Patrick Dorgu scored a stunner before Mikel Merino scored a late equaliser. But the eventual champions were undone by an even later winner by Matheus Cunha.
Ayoob: Everton 3-3 Manchester City. This six-goal masterpiece at the Hill Dickinson Stadium delivered unparalleled tactical drama, highlighted by Everton’s blistering 13-minute second-half blitz that completely rattled the title frontrunners. Although Jérémy Doku’s late brilliance rescued a point for City, the dropped points ultimately broke their momentum and handed the title advantage directly to Arsenal.
Mohon: Nothing beats the intense end-to-end excitement between Fulham and Man City. A nine-goal game that ended 5-4 to the visitors at Craven Cottage.
