Everton travel to the capital to face Tottenham Hotspur in their final Premier League assignment of the season.
David Moyes’s side sit 12th in the table following a disastrous late-season collapse. The Toffees are winless in their last six league matches, ruining any chance of European qualification. They aim to snap that poor run to finish a mixed campaign on a positive note.
Everton boast exceptional away form, collecting 26 points on the road this term. Only Manchester City and Arsenal have secured more away points during the 2025-26 campaign. They hope to overcome a terrible recent record at this stadium, having lost their last four visits.
Everton team news
David Moyes confirmed that veteran midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye remains a major doubt for the season finale. The 36-year-old is struggling with a minor injury and has not returned to full team training. Jack Grealish and Jarrad Branthwaite are also confirmed absentees following foot and hamstring injuries, respectively.
Everton have remarkably used just 22 players in the Premier League this season. That equals their joint-lowest number of players ever used in a top-flight campaign. Moyes insisted he will not field a weakened team despite having nothing left to play for.
He expects to name a similar starting eleven to the team that faced Sunderland last weekend. Beto will lead the attack, looking to exploit a highly vulnerable and extremely nervous Tottenham defence.
Everton predicted lineup
Everton predicted XI: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Garner, Iroegbunam; Rohl, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Beto.
When will the match kick off?
The Premier League match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium kicks off at 16:00 BST on Sunday, 24 May 2026.
