Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that one of his players could leave this summer amid interest from clubs around Europe.
23-year old academy product, Jese, has been linked with moved to both Arsenal and Liverpool in recent weeks as it is reported the young Spaniard wants to leave the club in search of regular first team football.
Speaking after Real Madrid’s 3-1 pre-season defeat to PSG, Zidane admitted he didn’t know if the youngster would stay.
If he wants to leave to play more, I don’t know.
It’s our first game. He’s here, he played. Everyone’s here, that’s all I can say now.
Meanwhile, reports in Spanish publication Marca, claim that PSG themselves are keen on signing the attacker. New boss Unai Emery wanted to sign him whilst in charge at Sevilla and will now try again at the French Champions.
Real Madrid would ideally like to loan the player, with just one-year remaining on his contract at the Bernabeu they could be resigned to allowing Jese to leave on a permanent deal instead.
