West Ham target Premier League striker

West Ham United are targeting the signature of Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony this summer as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

The Ivory Coast international is not thought to be a part of Pep Guardiola’s plans for the coming season, with Sergio Aguero and Kelechi Ihenacho being the main two strikers for the early Premier League leaders this season.

West Ham however have struggled to attracted a big name striker to the club, with the likes of Carlos Tevez, Carlos Bacca, Mich Batshuayi and many others, all shunning a move to the London Stadium.

However, West Ham have now targetted the signature of the former Swansea City striker who moved to the Etihad stadium 18 months ago.
