West Ham table £26million bid

West Ham United have made a £26million move for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca as the Hammers look to add more attacking options to their squad.

Slaven Bilic has so far had a fruitless search for a new striker, missing out on now Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, and being snubbed by Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. The Croatian has now turned his attention to 29-year old hitman Carlos Bacca, who scored 20 goals in 42 appearances for AC Milan.

The Columbian moved to Italy in a €30million move from Sevilla last summer where he has scored 49 goals in just two seasons, leading the La Liga club to two consecutive Europa League titles.

Bilic is hoping that a £26million bid, which would represent a small profit for AC Milan, can tempt the Rossonieri into selling the striker.
