West Ham United have seen their bid for Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter rejected according to reports.
It is believed that David Moyes is a big admirer of the Republic of Ireland international and he tabled an £8m earlier this week.
However, according to the Express, that bid has now been rejected by the Cherries who are keen to keep hold of one of their star players.
The Sun have recently reported that that West Ham are willing to pay up to £15m for the midfielder, so it is safe to assume that they will return with an improved offer.
Arter has made 244 appearances for the South Coast club, scoring 28 goals, and has been with the club during their journey through the divisions, playing in League 1, the Championship and of course in the Premier League.
