West Ham United are eyeing up a move for Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin according to reports.
Recently appointed West Ham boss David Moyes has prioritised that the club sign a new midfielder in the January transfer window in order to bolster their Premier League survival hopes.
Reports recently have suggested that Moyes has lodged an £8m bid for Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter, but saw that offer rejected by the Cherries. While he still maintains an interest in the Republic of Ireland midfielder, he has broadened his search for potential reinforcements.
According to the Daily Mirror, that search now has now extended to his former club Everton, and their midfielder, Morgan Schneiderlin. Schneiderlin moved to Goodison Park 12 months ago from Manchester United and after an initial bright start with the Blues, the Frenchman has seen his performance levels dip and his attitude questioned.
It is claimed that Everton would be open to a sale of they can secure their first choice replacement, Steven N’Zonzi, who is also attracting the attentions of Arsenal.
