West Ham agree £20million fee for Premier League striker

West Ham United have agreed a £20million fee with Swansea City for the purchase of striker André Ayew.

West Ham have had a long and fruitless search for a new striker this summer after missing out on deals for Carlos Bacca, Michy Batshuayi and Carlos Tevez to name just a few.

Ayew is currently discussing personal terms with the Hammers, and a deal should be completed in time for the start of the Premier League season.

Swansea meanwhile completed the signing of Fernando Llorente to fill the void that has been left by a number of departures. They are also interested in Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa.
