Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admitted that his side did not perform well in the second-half during their 3-3 Champions League draw with Sevilla in midweek, but said that his team will be ready and focused to face Chelsea at Anfield tomorrow as it is a completely different game.
The German coach revealed that he believes his team are still inexperienced when it comes to European Football. He accepts that mistakes will happen when this is the case, but the most important thing is to learn from them.
Klopp stated that he had spoken to left-back Alberto Moreno after his costly errors in Spain, although he remains happy with the players attitude and performances in general.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach expects a tough game tomorrow against Premier League Champions Chelsea. Despite losing key players in Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa, Liverpools manager still thinks the London side are a top team.
The talk then turned to transfers and Klopp said he is not worried about losing Emre Can on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer, and the Germany International could just as easily decide to sign a new contract at Anfield – even if that is next May.
When pressed on the possibility of striker Daniel Sturridge leaving on loan in January, Klopp remained non-committal and conceded that it is normal for any player to be unhappy when he is not playing regularly.
