Chelsea manager Antonio Conte again reiterated his belief that the club need to sign more players when talking to the press before his sides Premier League fixture against Leicester at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
Although the Italian coach admitted the final decision on new signings will be made by the club. When quizzed about speculation that former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique and Juventus coach Max Allegri could replace him as Chelsea manager in the summer the 54-year-old remained non-committal about his future with the London club.
Conte, also confirmed that new signing Rose Barkley is working hard to regain full fitness, and although he will not be ready to feature in tomorrow’s game he may well be eligible for selection for The Blues FA Cup third round replay against Norwich.
The former Italy coach also spoke of how he expects a really tough game against Claude Puel’s in form Leicester side.
A win for Chelsea tomorrow will see them move above Conte’s arch nemesis Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United into second in the Premier League table.
