Tottenham Hotspur finally confirmed the sale of the Premier League flop Roberto Soldado earlier this week, and Mauricio Pochettino is now targeting a Premier League proven replacement for the Spaniard.
According to The Telegraph, Saido Berahino of West Brom is on top of Spurs’ wish list, with the future of the Englishman up in the air.
Daniel Levy is willing to sacrifice up to £15million to bring the 22-year old into White Hart Lane this summer, after a fantastic debut season from the speedy striker last term.
When quizzed about Berahino’s future, his current manager Tony Pulis replied:
“If the money’s not right he won’t go, but if somebody came in and blew you out of the water then the club would think about it.
“I don’t want to lose him, if he left I don’t think it would be good for his development. He’s a regular here, the supporters really appreciate a good player and what he’s done for the football club.”
