Tottenham Hotspur ate eyeing up a move for West Ham star Manuel Lanzini according to reports.
According to ESPN, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is a big admirer of his fellow countryman, feeling that the Argentine playmaker could be a big addition to his squad.
Lanzini has impressed since moving to the Hammers on loan from UAE side Al-Jazira in 2015 before making the move permanent the following year.
He has especially caught Pochettino’s eye in West Ham’s games against Spurs, scoring three goals against his side.
The 24-year-old still has two-and-a-half years left on his current deal, and newly appointed West Ham boss David Moyes will be reluctant to let one of his key players leave in January given the clubs current relegation threatened status. West Ham are currently sat deep in the relegation zone following their heavy 4-0 defeat to Everton on Wednesday, a game that Lanzini saw a penalty saved.
Lanzini has developed into one of West Ham’s most creative players following the departure of Dimitri Payet from the club.
