Tottenham Hotspur are to be offered a sensational swap deal by Real Madrid for the services of Harry Kane.
Kane is in the form of his life right now, scoring 15 goals for club and country since the start of September, and was this week the only English player to be nominated in the 30 man shortlist for the Balon d’Or.
His form has attracted the attentions of some of the biggest clubs in the world, with some analysts suggesting he is starting to reaching the levels set by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Now, according to reports in Spain, Real Madrid are set to offer Tottenham a sensational triple swap deal to take Kane to the Bernabeu.
According to Diario Gol, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy values Kane at an incredible €200m (£179m), a fee that many clubs would be unable or unwilling to pay. However the report claims that the European champions are prepared to give the Premier League club THREE players as part of a straight swap deal.
The deal to take Kane to Spain could see Gareth Bale and Luka Modric return to the club where they made their name, as well as French striker, Karin Benzema. Bale moved from White Hart Lane to the Spanish capital in an £86m world record deal back in 2013, since scoring 70 goals for Los Blancos, but failing to win over the club’s supporters, who often jeer and whistle the Welshman. He is facing increasing pressure from other members of the Real Madrid squad too, from the likes of Isco and Marco Asensio, whose influence of the European champions seems to grown with every game.
Spurs fans, would you accept Bale, Modric and Benzema for Harry Kane? Is Kane irreplaceable? What are your thoughts?
