Serie A club Lazio have confirmed that they have received a huge bid for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with Man Utd and Man City rumoured to be interested in him.
Jose Mourinho has been spotted watching a number of games that have included the Serbian midfielder, including earlier this week when he watched him in action against Austria. Pep Guardiola has also been linked with having an interest in the midfielder, as have Serie A Champions Juventus.
However, his current club Lazio have confirmed they have received a number of bids for the 22-year-old, but are confident of keeping him after he signed a new deal just six months ago.
Director of Football Igli Tare told Premium Sport:
“It is the pitch that decides the player’s price-tag.
“We have received several offers for him. We have received offers exceeding €70million (£62m) but not from Juventus.
“He signed a contract extension six months ago and that means that he is happy here.”
Sergej’s younger brother Vanja, is also a footballer, and has spent some of his youth career in the Manchester United academy, but was released after failing to obtain a U.K. work permit.
