Sergio Romero to continue in goal for Manchester United

Manchester United got their season underway with a slender 1-0 victory at home to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, and their campaign continues with another potentially tricky game against Aston Villa. However they’ll be without the services of David de Gea, as his future is still up in the air.

“No, it’s the same situation,” said the United manager when quizzed about the goalkeeper.

Sergio Romero had a steady game last time around, but away Premier League football brings a whole new challenge in itself. Yes, we’d all like to see De Gea in goal but Louis van Gaal clearly feels he doesn’t have the right mindset at this moment in time, and its highly unlikely that we’ll see him in goal before the transfer window slams shut.
