Burnley were a revelation last season under Sean Dyche, and despite having an extremely small squad at his disposal, the plucky Scot managed to earn promotion as they finished second place in the SkyBet Championship. Danny Ings and Sam Vokes provided a large portion of the goals, as the duo formed a deadly partnership for the Lancashire side.
With their squad being thin on the ground, Sean Dyche will have to prove just how capable he is by doing his utmost best as he’ll try to keep Burnley in England’s top divison. He has a huge job on his hands though, and its hard to pick out three worse teams than The Clarets.
Key Player: Danny Ings’ goals proved pivotal in bringing Burnley to the Premier League, and more heroics from the young striker will be needed if his side are to survive the drop. If he does continue to score, Burnley will have to be wary of bigger teams coming in for his signature in January.

Last season’s Premier League finish: Won Promotion in second place

Burnley have made some decent signings in the form of Matt Gilks and Michael Kightly, plus Jutkiewicz from Middlesbrough is an astute acquisition. However I feel they’ll need much more if they want to remain in the Premier League this season.
