Cristiano Ronaldo wants €630,000-a-week to return to Manchester United

Although Manchester United have the funding all-set to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford, and the player himself wanting out of Real Madrid because he doesn’t feel as valuable anymore, it looks as though this deal is far from completion.

According to German media outlet Bild, Cristiano Ronaldo wants a huge €630,000-a-week to return to English football. That works out at just over £500,000-a-week in sterling.

First of all its huge money we’re talking about here – especially for someone nearing on thirty. He’s had a few injury problems over the last couple of months, and that certainly does make you wonder whether his best days are behind him.

Guillem Balague reckons that a deal is in place, and that the move will happen eventually, but not until the end of the season at the earliest.
