Revealed – Ryan Sessegnon’s preferred destination

He is one of the most talked about youngsters in English football, and is being tracked by clubs up and down the country. It is of course, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.

Despite his tender age of just 17 years old, the teenage sensation has already amassed an impressive 69 appearances for the Championship, scoring 14 goals, with the majority coming this season. He initially started his career as a left back, but in similar fashion to that of Gareth Bale, has been transformed with great effect into a left winger.

His goals have helped propel Fulham up to fourth place in the English second tier, just five points behind the automatic promotion spots, as they look to improve of their disappointing playoff performance of last season.

Despite all of the attention on him, Sessegnon has continued to perform, and he has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham, while there is also supposedly interest from around Europe, including Real Madrid.

However, according to a report in the Daily Mirror, if Fulham fail to gain promotion to the Premier League once again, then youngster would prefer to stay in London, with Tottenham his preferred destination.

This is due to being able stay in the capital, as well as offering him the opportunity to work with Mauricio Pochettino, who has a proven track record of developing and giving opportunities to younger players.

However, Pochettino has been installed as one of the favourites to take over at his former club PSG following their exit from the Champions League. Spurs also would likely offer significantly lesser wages than the likes of either of the Manchester clubs or Liverpool, due to their strict wage structure.
