Real Madrid have opened talks with Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of a potential summer transfer.
The European Champions have began negotiations with the French midfielder in an attempt to steal a march on Manchester United, who are also keen on bringing the player back to Old Trafford.
The 22-year old left Manchester United in 2012 on a free transfer, but has gone on to develop into one of the Worlds most sought after players, prompting the European giants to go head to head for the midfielder.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola told Marca:
We are in the first stage of the negotiations,
Paul admires Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane and that will obviously be important towards his decision.
The transfer has been speculated to be worth around £78million (€100million), but his agent also thinks it could break the world transfer record.
€120million, €140 million? Paul is worth whatever a club is willing to pay for him.
