Real Madrid eye up Manchester United ace

Real Madrid have placed Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford on their shortlist according to reports in Spain.

The reigning Spanish and European champions have been linked with a mega money move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane. However, a potential move for Kane by any club will not come cheap, with reports suggesting Spurs chief executive Daniel Levy could demand £200m for the two time Golden Boot winner.

While Kane is thought to be Los Blancos’ first choice target in next summers target, Don Balon claim that Man Utd’s Marcus Rashford is their ‘plan B’.

They claim that Cristiano Ronaldo keeps a close eye on his former club and believes that Rashford is on his way to becoming a world super star.

Rashford burst onto the scene 18 months ago, scoring two goals on his debut in the Europa League. He backed that up with another two goals in his next game against Arsenal and has gone on to establish himself as a first team regular at Old Trafford as well as for England.

He has already scored 24 goals in his 83 appearances for United, despite not turning 20-years-old until the 31st October.
