Paris Saint-Germain are plotting to splash the cash once more as they target Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
The French club made the headlines earlier this summer, smashing the world record with the £198m signing of Neymar from Barcelona, before committing a further £166m to sign Kylian Mbappe from champions Monaco.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, they are preparing to dig out their chequebooks once again as they plot a £90m for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
Kante has been a top performer in his two years in England, picking up two Premier League winners medals with two different sides. He helped Leicester City to the most unlikely of title wins in 2016, before moving to Chelsea to help steer the Blues towards the title last season.
He has cemented himself as one of the first choice central midfielders for France, and now is being linked with a return to his home city of Paris.
Kante has included on the 30 man shortlist for the prestigious Balon d’Or award alongside his Chelsea team mate Eden Hazard.
