The deal to take Paul Pogba back to Manchester United is edging ever closer as reports in Italy say talks have entered a ‘decisive phase’.
Gazzetta dello Sport say that ‘the negotiation is now taking shape’ with Manchester United offering £84million (€100million) plus a further £20million (€24million) in bonus payments.
Gazzetta also claim that Pogbas agent Mino Raiola has flown to Manchester for talks with the club, which would see Pogba earn €12million-a-year, which is around £210,000-a-week.
It is also claimed that Pogba could have a medical as early as today, but given that he is currently on holiday in Miami, seems unlikely at this stage.
Pogbas potential new teammates jet off to China today where they will play in two pre-season friendlies before heading to Sweden where Zlatan Ibrahimovic will link up with Mournho’s men.
