Paper Round-Up: Real Madrid to smash transfer record, Manchester United speak to a potential new manager, Arsenal eye summer Striker signing.

The FA Cup is back this weekend, and most of the talk turns to potential giant killings up and down the land, as well as cup upsets of years gone by. However the transfer window is still open and the rumour mill keeps on turning, here is a selection of today’s paper talk. 

Paper Round Up for 9th January 2016

Real Madrid are preparing to smash the Transfer record once again, with a £100m bid for France and Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba. [Sun]

Real Madrid also have their eye on Everton and England centre back, John Stones, following a recommendation from ex manager Rafael Benitez. [Daily Mail]

Manchester United have spoken to former defender and current PSG boss, Laurent Blanc, over becoming their next manager. [Daily Star]

Jürgen Klopp has told on loan striker, Mario Balotelli, that he wants him back at Anfield. [Metro]

Arsenal are looking to sign in-form Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, this summer. [Daily Mirror]

Bournemouth are to smash the club record transfer fee, with the signing of Benik Afobe from Wolves, in a £10million deal. [Telegraph]

West Bromwich Albion to take out of favour Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor across the midlands for just £1.5million [Sun]

West Ham are interested in signing Juventus forward Simone Zaza on loan, providing they can offload players first. [London Evening Standard]

Everton are targeting Leeds full back, Sam Byram, as the look for further defensive additions [Liverpool Echo]

Lazio are preparing the ‘divorce papers’ of Manchester United target, Felipe Anderson. [Il Tempo via Sport Witness]
