New five-year contract for Premier League hotshot

Watford striker Odion Ighalo has signed a new five year contract at Vicarage Road ahead of the new Premier League season.

The Nigerian striker was one of the Premier Leagues hottest strikers last season, scoring 15 goals in the early stages of the campaign and was even linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal back in January.

The striker was subject to a mega £37million bid from the Chinese Super League earlier on this summer, a bid that was rejected by Watford as the striker preferred to stay in England.

He has now signed a new five year deal and will be hoping he finds his goalscoring touch early on next season as he looks to help the Hornets survive the drop.
