Mkhitaryan prefers Manchester United move over Arsenal

Borussia Dortmund playermaker Henrikh Mkhitatyan has told the Bundesliga club that he has no intention of extending his current contract, and he prefers a move to Manchester United rather than one to Arsenal.

The Armenian has just 12-months remaining on his contract at the Westfalenstadion and is adamant that his current deal will not be being extended.

Mkhitaryan’s agent, Mino Raiola, has reportedly expressed to BILD that Manchester United is his preferred destination, despite interest from Arsenal. He said:

Manchester United is a once in a lifetime chance and he wants to go there.

Raiola is also the agent of fellow Manchester United targets Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.

Dortmund are however reluctant to sell the 27-year old, after already losing Ilkay Gundogan and Mats Hummels this season, as well as strong rumours surrounding the future of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
