Menace striker will return to Liverpool after failed loan move

Liverpool have had a real problem with their strikers scoring goals this term, with the only real input coming from attacking midfielder, Roberto Firmino. However, they could receive a boost from an unlikely form – Mario Balotelli. The Italian will return to Anfield after a failed loan move, according to Calciomercato.

Balotelli, now 25, has had some excellent Premier League campaigns with Manchester City, but since his move to Anfield he has struggled with his attitude, and failed to force his way into first-team plans anywhere.

Lets not forget that he is still contracted to Liverpool, and they could well decide to let him leave over the summer if they can find a buyer. However if Jurgen Klopp can control his attitude and temperament, they could have a #1 striker on their hands.
