Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a Real Madrid exit over recent weeks, and the Premier League is looking likely to be the most viable destination for the 29-year old if he is shipped out of the Spanish capital. According to The Express, Manchester United are leading the race for his signature, as they are preparing a £300,000-a-week contract offer for their former star.
United sold Ronaldo to his boyhood club for a huge £80million over five years ago now, and although Ronaldo has won it all in Madrid, it looks as though he could be plotting an exit in the not too distant future.
Ronaldo seems unhappy with Perez’s current transfer policy, and seemed particularly disappointed in letting Angel Di Maria switch Madrid for manchester.
Ronaldo is currently on a £290,000-a-week contract, and could be tempted by the lure of £300,000-a-week when you factor in his age.
