Manchester United target huge £30million signing this January

Manchester United Football Club are in desperate need of some reinforcements in the January transfer window, and Louis van Gaal could be about to get his wish, whilst getting one over on one of his fierce rivals.

The Daily Mail say that United could be ready to swoop for Southampton’s Sadio Mane, after the Senegal man didn’t play for the Saints yesterday due to doubts about his future.

The paper go on to say that the 23-year old would cost £30million in a transfer fee, as well as a massive £100,000+ a week contract to come to Old Trafford.

He is without doubt a talent, but paying him six-figure sums seems to be extremely steep for a man who has only just made his breakthrough in the last twelve months.

There is no doubting that he offers some much-needed pace and precision however, but it would still be a massive gamble.
