Manchester United send scouts to watch Saido Berahino

Manchester United are in desperate need of a striker this summer, after letting go of both Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao. The latest reports coming out of Old Trafford suggest that United had scouts watching Saido Berahino of West Brom during their game against Watford on Saturday.

Berahino had a blinder against Manchester United last season, as he ran away from the whole defence before cooly slotting past David de Gea giving WBA a slender lead.

The Englishman would cost a pretty penny however, and Tony Pulis is looking for somewhere around the £25million mark to let him go, and Louis van Gaal will face competition to sign him, as reports of a move from Spurs have been all over the media over the last week or so.

That said, you’d imagine Manchester United have scouts watching plenty of players week-in week-out, as the club looks at as many viable options as possible before making their move for a player.
