Manchester United new-boy Marcos Rojo finally granted work permit

Manchester United signed Marcos Rojo over two weeks ago now, and the Argentine defender has finally been granted permission to work in the United Kingdom; Meaning he is eligible to feature in Manchester United’s next league game against Queens Park Rangers.

The 24-year old missed three of United’s games whilst waiting on his work permit, and after various trips to both Madrid and Lisbon for interviews and permits, Rojo is finally ready to make his Manchester United debut.

The long hold-up was due to a criminal investigation on his record, after an incident in his native Argentina way back in 2010, but at the end of the day he’s a human being, and work permits in foreign countries do take time to come through.

Rojo featured for Argentina against the World Champions Argentina last night, and put in an extremely impressive performance – As did Manchester United’s other new Argentine Angel Di Maria, grabbing three assists and a goal.
