Manchester United and Arsenal’s search for a striker have been given a boost with the news that Premier a League striker, Odion Ighalo has a gentlemens agreement with Watford, according to reports in today’s Star.
The agreement means that Watford will listen to any offers the receive for Ighalo’s signature, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid interested in signing the Nigerian striker.
Ighalo, 26, has scored 15 goals for the Premier League new boys this season, and could leave Vicarage Road for as little as £12million in the summer, despite being contracted to the club until 2020 after signing a new contract in September.
In an article covered by Football Faithful in January, Ighalo previously revealed that he would be unable to turn down an approach from Manchester United. With his new gentlemens agreement, his dream may finally come true.
