Manchester City welcome Jesus to the Etihad

Don’t worry, we haven’t gone all religious on this blog, but Manchester City have welcomed Jesus to the club and they are hoping that he can perform miracles on the pitch.

Man City signed Brazilian teenage sensation Gabriel Jesus back in the summer transfer window from Palmeiras, but the striker remained in his homeland to help the side until the end of the season over in South America, where he helped them claim their first league title since 1994.

The 19-year old has finally made the trip north bound, and despite being signed by the club in the summer, the club have only just been able to register him, meaning he should be involved in the weekends huge Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur.

The striker scored 12 goals for Palmeiras in their title winning campaign, scoring 28 goals in 85 games for the club, and will wear the number 33 shirt for Manchester City.
